Hemel Hempstead and it's father schools based in St. Albans & London Colney, are all authentic, licensed clubs of the International Tae Kwon Do Federation under the guidance of Mr. Chang Ung. Our clubs are proud that all our members only receive I.T.F. certification for exams taken under us. This move means that all students are Internationally registered Black Belts, unlike most other clubs.

I.T.F. Tae Kwon Do is not the one you often see on TV in the Olympics, as that is the sport version. I.T.F. Tae Kwon Do originates from Korea, but it is not ‘sport orientated’. In fact, it is known by the 80 million practitioners that have trained in it as the ‘life art’, therefore its sole purpose is to enhance the practitioners life from teaching good ethics, improving self confidence, self defence skills and body conditioning. Who learns then?
Children
Our childrens classes run for 4 to 11 year olds, five times a week in St. Albans. The amazing fact is the price is only £20 a month for up to 8 lessons - that means up to eight hours a month you can leave your child with us and give them the best kick start in life, whilst you get a well deserved break from them.
Children classes build self esteem, confidence, awareness, respect and get them active. Many of our students that have moved onto GCSE’s have attained high grades, proving that our teaching methods don’t just work in the class but academically they succeed better than those not training in the art.
Teens
Teens from 13 to 17 find Tae Kwon Do helps them develop good social skills, whilst interacting with other teens helps them make new friends and builds their confidence ready for the move into the big wide world or further education. Many go on to form lifelong friendships with those theytrain with at our clubs. The cost for teens is just £25 for up to 8 lessons a month.
Families
Families that train together find it bonds them with their children, not to mention many say the practice of Tae Kwon Do gives them a common ground, often repairing broken down relationships and helping them forge working relationships with their loved ones. The respect slowly grows, as both parent and child learn to appreciate each other. Families get great discounts at our clubs.
Adults
Adults over 18 find Tae Kwon Do improves their lives tenfold as their fitness peaks. The more they train, the less time they spend at the local public house so they make good savings there. The cost is only £30 for up to 8 lessons - a night out can cost much more, as the average person spends £40 to £60!
